Books

If there is something I really like is reading on the beach while J is kiting. Non-stop reading, where I get totally absorbed into the history and dragged away from reality. This vacation I was really glad for my book choice. Buying or picking up a book is always a surprise: it can be disappointing, boring, fantastic or it can be the book of your life. You never know.

This holiday I was happy with my choices. And they were:

This one I started before holidays. Haruki Murakami is one of my favourite writers. This book tells the story about two teenagers, bounded by a common friend and by strong emotions. A history full of sensuality.

Stieg Larsson... what can say? Absolutely
amazing! The last book of the triology of Millenium, Blomkvist and Salander.

Ui! This one was hard!
Saviano
tells all about italian mafia: names, dates, you name it! Hard to read. I had to make a pause where I red the next book.

An almost romance as
the writer Miguel S. Tavares likes to call it. Very simple but makes you d
ream. I like it especially because it reminded me of my trip to Marroco.

Swedish writer. The fabulous detective Wallander! This is
the first book of many. Ths one is about a violent murder of an old and innocent couple. But things are never what they seem, right?

Last but not least:
african writer Mia
Couto. This book tells the story of a portuguese doctor who goes to Africa to find his love Deolinda.

  1. It was you that made me a Fanatic for the Stieg Larsson Millenium. So far I have read the first two and believe me or not, the second took me only a day and a night to read!!! Completely addicted!!!
